This is incredible. Mint is so great for health and the digestive system. I think you will love this too! Great smoothie!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup almond milk (add 1/2 cup coconut water if you have it)
1 cup spinach
5-7 fresh mint leaves
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon chia seeds or chia seed gel
1 tablespoon cacao, macha, or any other superfood (I use cacao powder -- yum!)
a little honey, maple syrup, or stevia to sweeten (optional)
1 cup frozen or fresh banana (I use frozen) -- how to freeze instructions below
3/4 cup to 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Add to Vitamix in above order -- blend on smoothie setting or start out on 1 and increase to high for 20-30 seconds or until well blended
How to freeze bananas: Buy ripe bananas if possible -- peel and cut banana into 3 pieces. Arrange single layer on a plate in freezer. Once frozen, store in plastic baggie (BPA free, if possible)
