Pear And Watercress Soup

Ingredients:
2 cups of watercress (preferably organic)
1 organic pear
1 cup of filtered water - depending on desired consistency

Directions:
Place all fresh ingredients in blender and blend on high for several minutes.

Add-ons:
for a creamier consistency, add 1/2 avocado or a small amount of cold pressed oil -- e.g., olive oil.
walnuts -  adding a few will change flavor
dash of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg

NOTE:  I only mention Vitamix because this is the machine I own -- any high-powered blender will work beautifully.
