Pecan Pie


One of dad's favorites....a really easy pie to make.

Ingredients:
3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup dark or light corn syrup
2 tablespoons good quality bourbon
1 cup pecan halves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees -- bake 40-50 minutes or until set.

In a medium-size bowl, mix above ingredients.  Pour into an unbaked pastry shell -- prick sides and bottom of shell and cover edges with foil to prevent excessive browning the first 30 minutes of baking.  Remove foil the last 10 minutes of baking.
