Chocolate Grand Marnier Sauce

Absolutely fabulous, fantastic, scrumptious, decadent!  Who could possibly resist this?  Right up there with the Godiva Chocolates, Starbucks, and, of course, chocolate chip cookie dough!  This is so delicious, you might just forget about the dessert it was made to go over!

Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
6 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened),
finely chopped (1 cup)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 to 4 tablespoons Grand Marnier, or to taste

Directions:
Bring cream just to a simmer in a heavy saucepan over moderate heat; remove from heat.  Add chocolate and butter - whisking until smooth.  Whisk in Grand Marnier.

This dessert sauce would complement cheesecake, various pound cakes, dark chocolate cake and ice cream to name a few.
