Ira's Garlic Dressing

Deb and Phil's salads are just scrumptious.  A very basic dressing is their secret which was handed down to them from Phil's dad.  I just had to get this recipe, and Deb was so kind to email the directions just the other day.  I know you guys enjoyed this very much too!

Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic, smashed then minced
1 scant tablespoon salt
6 tablespoons cider vinegar
12 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:
Combine garlic and salt in a small bowl and press into a pasty mash (mortar & pestle works well if you have).  Dump this mush into a jar or dressing container and add the vinegar.  Shake well.  Add the oil and shake to combine.  Et voila!  Leave at room temperature prior to using, but store in fridge for future use.

So delicious!  Thanks to you both, Deb and Phil for sharing!!!
